PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extractant composition which is used for producing a porous molded product made of a thermoplastic resin suitable for battery separators or filters, and a method for producing the porous molded product made of a thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: The extractant composition for a thermoplastic resin porous molded product comprises (A) 5-50 mass% anionic surface active agent, (B) 5-90 mass% alkylene oxide derivative represented by formula (I): R-(R1O)m-R2 (wherein R is a 1-10C alkyl group or an alkenyl group; R1 is a 2-4C alkylene group; m is a number of 1-8; and R2 is a hydrogen atom or a 1-3C alkyl group), and (C) 5-45 mass% water. The method for producing a thermoplastic resin porous molded product comprises treating a gelled molded product obtained by melt kneading a thermoplastic resin and a plasticizer with the above extractant composition heated at a temperature of not lower than the melting point of the plasticizer to remove the above plasticizer and to obtain a porous molded product. Accordingly, the plasticizer can be efficiently and surely removed without using an organic solvent or the like. Further, efficient thermoplastic resin porous molded products can be obtained. |
