An assembly includes a chassis (12) coupled to a mounting surface (14) via a mounting system. The mounting system includes a bolt (22), a dashpot (24), and a spring (26). The dashpot and the spring are configured to reduce vibration forces transferred from the mounting surface to the chassis. Techniques for forming the assembly are also described.
