The arrangement has a mirror base cover arrangement (19) closing a portion of an opening (3), where the portion remains between an edge (9) of the opening and a mirror base sided portion (4) of a hinged connector. A mirror base cover passes till the edge of the opening in a sectional manner such that contact is established between the mirror base cover and the edge of the opening in an adjusting manner. A seal is molded at the mirror base cover using two-component or multi-component injection molding process. The cover comprises a strap that protrudes radially outward.
