PURPOSE: A pot lid is provided to prevent the overflow of food by keeping in place on a pot and to utilize the heat of a heating medium that disappears to the outside of the pot. CONSTITUTION: A pot lid comprises a lid body(100), a circular condensate collector(400), a radiation plate(300), and a coupling member(500). The lid body is curved upward and fitted with a handle(200) on the top thereof. The circular condensate collector is provided on the underside of the lid body, has an inner diameter to maintain a gap from the lateral surface of a pot, and supports the lid body in order to separate the lid body from the pot. The condensate created on the inner surface of the lid body is collected to the circular condensate collector. The radiation plate is extended from the inner lower side to the central part of the lid body and radiates the heat of a heating medium, which rises along the outer surface of the pot and enters the lid body, to the interior of the pot. The coupling member passes through the condensate collector and is coupled with the handle, thereby coupling the condensate collector with the lid body. |
