PURPOSE: A floating marine structure is provided to attenuate wave energy through recesses formed in the longitudinal direction on the outer sidewall of a hull. CONSTITUTION: A floating marine structure comprises a hull(100) and equipment(300) which is installed on the top of the hull. Recesses(120) are discontinuously formed in rows of the longitudinal direction on the upper side of the outer sidewall of the hull.
