PURPOSE: A planar transformer is provided to slim a power supply device, thereby reducing manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A planar transformer(100) comprises a core(102), a bobbin(104), at least one primary winding unit(106), a first insulation unit(108), at least one secondary winding unit(110), and a second insulation unit(112). The core comprises a first coupling unit. The bobbin is coupled with the core by the first coupling unit. The core includes a lower core(102b) and an upper core(102c). The bobbin includes a second coupling unit(104a) separated from the first coupling unit. The core includes a third coupling unit(102d) coupled with the second coupling unit.
