A flow restrictor for a gas producing well includes a production tank having a fluid inlet connected to an outlet of the gas producing well and a gas outlet; and a flow restricting body upstream of the fluid inlet. The flow restricting body defines a flow area that is less than a flow area of the fluid inlet.
