PURPOSE: A bicycle parking apparatus and control method thereof are provided to perform the release approval of a bicycle by enabling a manager to confirm the captured picture of a user when the user loses password or a security card. CONSTITUTION: A camera unit(18) captures the image of a user by enabling a key input unit(12) to control an input and output system. A card decoding unit(14) decodes card information which is used by the user. A data storage unit(20) stores various data and the card information. A display unit(16) displays a touch screen type image on a display screen.
