The tool has a flat tool frame (2) comprising four rectangular joined frame beams (3), and a plate element i.e. heating plate (1), arranged in the tool frame. The plate element is fastened with fastening units. Outer edges of the two parallel frame beams form outer edges of the tool. The plate element acts as a supporting plate comprising punching blades and embossing plates. Clamping strips are arranged at different positions within the tool frame in a detachable manner. The plate elements are clamped between the clamp strips at arbitrary positions.
