<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update software of a base station while providing communication services. <P>SOLUTION: A base station control unit 200 selects one or more signals, in accordance with a radio status, from among signals received by a plurality of configurable communication paths. A wireless communication apparatus 110 communicates with a radio terminal 300 and a wired communication network at a plurality of frequencies. When a software updating request is received from a network management device 250, the wireless communication apparatus 110 selects one of the frequencies, controls a status of transmission radio waves of a wireless interface so as to switch a communication path providing the communication services at the frequency to another communication network without hit, rewrites software set for each wireless interface, which is not providing the communication services, into software received beforehand via a wired interface, recovers the status of transmission radio waves of the wireless interface, and updates the software without interrupting provision of the communication services to the radio terminal 300. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
