<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling-embedded lighting apparatus capable of preventing temperature rise of a ceiling material by preventing contact of the ceiling material with a lamp when the lamp is rotated. <P>SOLUTION: The ceiling-embedded lighting apparatus 1 is provided with a frame 2 which is inserted in a through hole C2 provided in a ceiling material C, an apparatus main body 3 which is arranged inside the frame 2 and installed on the frame 2, and a lamp 4 inside of which a light source 6 is arranged and which is axially supported by a bolt 81 being a rotating shaft to the apparatus main body 3 so that it can rotate in vertical direction.
