<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrofusion apparatus which restrains the scrap amount of electrofusion fittings and resin pipes and also prevents the defective fusion from occurring in the juncture between an electrofusion fitting and resin pipes, by measuring the fusion time from the fusion start to the forcible termination and by clearly setting a prescriptive value on the fusion time for determining the possibility of re-fusion in the electrofusion fitting when the fusion is forcibly terminated in the midst by an abnormal situation. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with: a fusion power source part 11; a fusion time measuring means 123; a fusion voltage measuring means 122; a memory means 124; an input means 121; a fusion terminating means 125; a means 126 for determining the possibility of re-fusion which, when the fusion power supply is stopped, determines whether or not the fusion power supplying time from the supply start to the failure of supply is≤20% of the fusion time entered from the input means 121 and determines the possibility of re-fusion of the electrofusion fitting 3; a means 127 for notifying the propriety of re-fusion; and a control part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
