MULTI-PRIMER AMPLIFICATION METHOD FOR BARCODING OF TARGET NUCLEIC ACIDS

The present invention provides an elastomer microfluidic device that enables simultaneous amplification of multiple nucleic acid samples with multiple pairs of primers in a matrix format as well as recovery of the products e.g. for next generation sequencing. The flow of samples and reagents as well as the compartmentalization of individual reactions in the multiple channels and chambers is controlled using valves and dilation pumping / volumetric capacitive pumping.
