FIELD: weapons and ammunition. ^ SUBSTANCE: cartridge includes bullet, steel case with igniter capsule and powder propellant charge. Bullet consists of cover, slug and lead jacket. Slug consists of head and end parts. Bullet length is equal to (3.52-4.60)d; length of bullet slug is (2.36-3.48)d. Slug is made from hard alloy with tungsten carbide content of 85-96 wt %, which has HRA hardness of not less than 85.0 units; ultimate bending strength is at least 2000 MPa. Head part of slug is cone-shaped, the length of which is (0.52-2.41)d; end part has the shape of cylinder or flattened cone, or cylinder and flattened cone connected to each other. Smaller diameter of flattened cone is (0.69-0.86)d; larger diameter of flattened cone of end part is equal to diameter of cylinder and diameter of head part of slug and is equal to (0.70-0.86)d. Length of cylinder of the end is equal to (0.01-3.58)d, where d - bullet calibre diameter.
