FIELD: construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: method to install a continuous welded rail consists in the fact that a rail is laid with its foot onto rollers installed on a slab track, its one end is connected to a previously laid rail, a longitudinal force is applied to its other end as adjustable in value. The rail laid onto rollers is heated, rollers are removed, and the rail is fixed on the slab track. At the same time the start section of the rail is heated until it is fully laid onto the rollers, and the start control sections of the rail are extended to the rated length. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency due to provision of identical values that correspond to the recommended temperature of rail fixation for the permanent mode of operation along the whole length of the installed rail. ^ 1 dwg |
