PURPOSE: Development on a forging mold of a high-efficient static-pressure piston cap of 2 types is provided to reduce the replacing time of a sphere part and the repair time of a mold and easily adjust the dimension of parts. CONSTITUTION: Development on a forging mold of a high-efficient static-pressure piston cap of 2 types is as follows. The development is related to trapezoidal, semi-circular, and triangular punches. An insert pad is installed in a die holder to protect two of trapezoidal, semi-circular, and triangular punches from damage.
