METHOD FOR INTRAOPERATIVE DRAINAGE OF PLEURAL CAVITY

A method for the intraoperative drainage of the pleural cavity comprises thoracotomy, the principal stage of the surgery, the cut of the thoracic wall in the projection of intercostal VII along posterior axillary line up to , and the insertion of the draining tube into the pleural cavity. Only single drainage is installed covering the internal surface of the posterior thoracic wall. The drainage is passed to the cupola of the pleura and the orifice of the subclavian artery.
