The invention relates to biotechnology of photoautotrophic algae and can be used for production of biomass with high &bgr;-carotene content. A method for cultivation of micro algae Dunaliella Salina Teod provides algae cultivation on natural saline solution at round-the-clock lighting. For disinfection of saline solution active chlorine is produced by electrolysis of saline solution, thereafter it is removed for reaching by saline solution relative density of 1.10-1.14. Said relative density of saline solution is maintained, and after inoculation of algae strain D. cultivation is carried out under mixing and temperature of 27-32 °C till forming a suspension with algae biomass up to 15-20 cell per ml. Thereafter relative density is increased to 1.20-1.30 by introduction of sodium chloride into the suspension and is maintained under the temperature of 20-22 °C for 48-72 hours. An installation is pintended for carrying out the method, comprising an algae propagator, equipped with a cover, lamps simulating sun light, a gear-motor drive with agitator-cleansers, an air heater, a temperature sensor, a sensor for control of biogenic elements concentration in the propagator, connected to a source of saline water by a pipeline, equipped with an electrochemical reactor, a dechlorinating device, batchers for supply into the propagator of biogenic elements KNO, KHPO, NaHCO, and also with a batcher and a laboratory cultivator of algae strain. The propagator and batchers are equipped with an electrical backstop, and the dechlorinating device – with a rotor with an agitator. |
