The invention relates to binding protein comprising an antigen binding domain, wherein said binding protein is capable of binding a p40 subunit of IL- nucleic acid encoding thereof, a vector, a method of producing the protein, a pharmaceutical composition. The invention further relates to a method of using the binding protein for the production of medicament useful for the treatment of disorder or disease in which hIL-12 activity is detrimental.
