A method for the production of retted flax fibers includes pulling and hackling stems, natural drying of those, formation of stem strip into a cylindrical bale, transportation of the bale, wetting the bale in vessel with water, its drying and unwinding. The bales are winded to a cylindrical bobbin that has an axial opening that is connected to the outer surface of the bobbin with perforations. While wetting the bobbins are arranged in the vessel in horizontal direction in several lines. |
