A cutter of dry plant stem shreddings is made in the form of a base, sidewalls, a cutting drum with knives, shearing blades, a bunker with a feeding worm mechanism, a tray with an outlet pipe. On the base the sidewalls are rigidly installed in which the cutting drum with knives is installed on bearings with possibility of free rotation. The knives are located on the cylindrical drum surface as herringbone gear teeth. In the sidewalls thrust disks are installed and radial guiding grooves are made in which the shearing blades are installed, which edges adjoin to the thrust disks. The thrust disk diameter is larger than diameter on which knife cutting edges are located, that provides sliding thereof on the shearing blade surfaces. The shearing blades are pressed to the thrust disks by a purse rope. In the sidewalls and side and cylindrical surface of the cutting drum holes are made for air passage. On the base the bunker with the feeding worm mechanism and the tray with outlet pipe are installed. |
