PURPOSE: A variable capacity type of a swash plate type compressor is provided to enhance assembling performance if a non-cylindrical object is fixed, since an abject to fix the escape unit of a snap ring is formed to be able to escape. CONSTITUTION: A variable capacity type of a swash plate type compressor comprises a cylinder block, a front housing, a rear housing, a valve assembly, and a snap ring(240). The snap ring is installed in the valve assembly and regulates unidirectional movement of the valve member. The snap ring has a partial ring shape, which forms an escape unit(244) whose part is cut. Assembling holes(242,242') are formed on symmetrical positions around the central part of the escape unit. Fixing units(246,246') are formed on a part where the ring is extended in a radial direction, between the escape unit and the assembling hole. |
