METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COORDINATE CORRECTION IN TOUCH SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A coordinate correction method in a touch system and apparatus thereof are provided to create exact touch coordinates by calculating touch coordinates through the data of a touch panel. CONSTITUTION: An LUT(Look UP Table) storage unit(820) stores an LUT in order to correct the touch coordinate of a touch panel. When a touch signal is generated in the touch panel, a touch data acquisition unit(810) acquires touch data. A processor(830) calculates the size of a touched conductive member and calculates touch coordinate value from the touch data. A touch coordinate correcting unit(840) corrects the touch coordinate value through the LUT using an input parameter from the touch coordinate value and the size of the conductive member.
