PURPOSE: A thermally treated shaft screw cutting machine is provided to precisely form the surface roughness and pitch of a screw and simplify working processes. CONSTITUTION: A thermally treated shaft screw cutting machine comprises a chuck(1), a tailstock(2), a transfer body(3), a first grinder(4), and a second grinder(5). The chuck grips workpiece and simultaneously rotates. The tailstock is located on the opposite side of the chuck and is slid back and forth. The tailstock supports the workpiece and makes no-load operation. The transfer body is vertically installed between the chuck and the tailstock, and is transferred back and forth, and vertically. The first and second grinders are installed on both sides on the top of the transfer body and rotate around the chuck.
