PURPOSE: A display device and NPR processing method applied to the same are provided to reduce the brightness of an image pixel and to increase the brightness of an image pixel. CONSTITUTION: An image processing unit(150) processes an NPR(Non-Photorealistic Rendering) of an image. A display unit(160) displays the processed image. The image processing unit reduces the brightness of the image pixel. The image processing unit increases the brightness of the image pixel. The image processing unit uses an S-curve. The S-curve uses the specific brightness value as a standard value.
