<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor element capable of forming an ID display part with excellent visibility on a surface of the semiconductor element, by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor element comprises: a semiconductor substrate; a surface electrode formed on the semiconductor substrate; an invalid region formed so as to surround the surface electrode; and an ID display part that is formed on the surface electrode using a different material from that of the surface electrode and displays an ID.
