<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of centering of a seat member and a valve element after assembling while saving excessive labor for the assembling, in a pressure adjusting mechanism of a gas fuel regulator. <P>SOLUTION: The gas fuel regulator 1A has the pressure adjusting mechanism maintaining the pressure in a pressure adjusting chamber to be constant, provided and constituted with a seat member 12, a valve element 11 with a slanted surface on the distal end side, and a valve shaft 10 coaxially having the valve element 11 so as to reciprocally slide in the axial direction. The regulator depressurizes and adjusts introduced fuel gas and sends it toward the downstream. The seat member 12 has a proximal side pressed by pressing means so that the distal end surface is arranged closely attached to a seat member arrangement surface, and a gap on the outer circumferential side so as to slide within a predetermined range in the direction perpendicular to the axis. The slanted surface of the valve element 11 guides the sliding in the direction where the axis of the seat member 12 aligns to the axis of the valve element 11 while in contact with the seat surface 12a side by the movement of the valve element 11 toward the valve closing side. Thus, the axis of the valve element 11 and the axis of the seat member 12 are aligned to each other in the closed state of the valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
