<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pier part (bridge base part) auxiliary support mechanism for supporting a super structure auxiliarily beneath the super structure along with bearings so that when a bridge girder is slipped out of the bearings due to earthquakes and so forth, an impact load may not be applied to a bridge seat. <P>SOLUTION: A pier part auxiliary support mechanism comprises a connecting body 40 extended on a bridge seat 2a of a bridge pier 2 in the bridge axial direction, and abutment bodies 41 that are arranged on both sides of the bridge axial direction of the bridge seat 2a by being fixed to both ends of the connected body 40 and that abut on the underside of a bridge girder 8 which is supported by bearings 2b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
