<p>The invention relates to a reducing device having a cable or having a belt and a cable, which is capable of providing a high reduction ratio, and which comprises two driving drums (2, 4), two groove wheels (6, 8), at least one driving cable (10) traveling from a first driving drum (2) to a groove wheel (6), from said groove wheel (6) to the second driving drum (4), from said second driving drum (4) to the other groove wheel (8), and from said other groove wheel (8) to the first driving drum (2), a driven cable (12), one strand of which travels from the fork of a groove wheel (6) to a driven wheel (14), and one strand of which travels from the driven wheel (14) to the fork of the other groove wheel (8), the driving drums (2, 4) having different diameters and/or different rotation speeds so that the rotation of the driving drums (2, 4) causes a movement of the groove wheels (6, 8) which drive the driven cable (12), and a rotation movement of the driven wheel (14). The reducing device is particularly suitable for robots and haptic interfaces.</p> |
