The manipulator (1) has a grasp (3) arranged at a proximate end of a shaft (2). An arbor (4) is arranged at a distal end of the shaft. A cervical cap (6) passes through the shaft, and is fixed at the shaft by a holder (5) in a length-adjustable manner. The holder includes a detent device (9) for displacement between lengthwise-spaced detent positions. The holder is rotatably supported on the shaft. The detent device includes a pin (10) mounted at the cap. The pin is moved by a spring (16) against recesses (17) on an outer side of the shaft, where the recesses define the positions.
