With conventional touch-panel key-input devices for computer terminals, it was not possible to determine the position of keys on a keyboard without looking at a video image, resulting in poor keyboard usability. The present disclosure provides a supplemental input device that: allows recognition at a glance by having a simple key display that uses a common key display that associates input keys with conversion keys; is capable of having a support panel for input installed upon a touch panel-type panel; is capable of storing a panel on the rear side of the computer terminal, without having to remove the support panel, allowing an apparatus for input support to be used with ease; and allows efficacious computer terminal use that does not affect the display video of the display.
