<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pitching controller of an electric vehicle for preventing a discontinuity of a deceleration occurring at the moment when a vehicle stops by properly controlling a brake of the vehicle so as to reduce an attitude change due to a pitching movement when the vehicle is braked, finely controlling the pitching movement of the vehicle, ensuring the ride quality of occupants even if there are a substantial change in a travel resistance due to a road surface gradient and a substantial change in the vehicle weight due to an increase/decrease of a driver and a load, and improving the steering stability. <P>SOLUTION: The pitching controller of the electric vehicle implements a control for reducing the attitude change of the electric vehicle occurring due to the pitching movement of the electric vehicle, and implements a control for causing a brake/drive torque output to a drive motor for driving the electric vehicle when the electric vehicle stops to be a torque corresponding to the travel resistance as a force required for maintaining a stop state of the electric vehicle on a road surface having a gradient which is converted into a torque of the drive motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
