<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural discharge prevention charger capable of suppressing natural discharge by using a rechargeable battery housing and a cover to constantly isolate an anode and a cathode of a rechargeable battery from outside. <P>SOLUTION: A natural discharge prevention charger comprises: a rechargeable battery for charging electricity; a rechargeable battery housing which accommodates the rechargeable battery and has a first (+) terminal and a first (-) terminal connected to an anode and a cathode of the rechargeable battery, respectively; and a cover which has a second (+) terminal and a second (-) terminal corresponding to the first (+) terminal and the first (-) terminal, respectively, and which is mounted on one side of the rechargeable battery housing so as to isolate the first (+) terminal and the first (-) terminal of the rechargeable battery housing from outside. The rechargeable battery housing and the cover can selectively maintain either a state in which the first (+) terminal and the first (-) terminal of the rechargeable battery housing are respectively brought into mutual contact with the second (+) terminal and the second (-) terminal of the cover or a state in which the terminals are not in mutual contact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
