<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire electric discharge machining device capable of reducing the distortion of a waveform of a high-frequency voltage when the high-frequency voltage between electrodes is transmitted from between the electrodes to a detection section. <P>SOLUTION: The wire electric discharge machining device applying the high-frequency voltage to a wire electrode and a workpiece placed on a surface plate to generate an electric discharge and machine the workpiece includes the detection section detecting the waveform of the high-frequency voltage across the electrodes, a first wire electrically connecting the wire electrode and the detection section, and a second wire electrically connecting the workpiece and the detection section. At least one of the first wire and second wire contains a resistance wire having a resistance value inhibiting a resonance of the high-frequency voltage which should be transmitted to the detection section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
