<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mount a cable connector to an end of a cable and further to surely prevent a liquid from entering the inside of the cable connector. <P>SOLUTION: A contact/seal cylinder 14 disposed in a plug housing 18 and a socket housing 38, respectively, has a contact accommodation part for holding a conductor connecting part 26 or 46 to which an inner conductor of a cable CA can be removably connected; and an annular recess in which a seal tube 16 is mounted. When connecting the cable CA to a plug contact terminal 20 or a socket contact terminal 40 and when screwing stepped pressing nut members 12 and 32 into male screw parts 18MS, 38MS of the plug housing 18 and the socket housing 38, respectively, a pressing piece 14Pi and the seal tube 16 are pressed, thereby sealing an outer circumferential part of the cable CA in the plug housing 18 and the socket housing 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
