<p>The present invention discloses a method for implementing a measurement task. The method includes the following steps: the network side configures a measurement task unlimited by S-measure for a UE and notifies the UE; when it determines that the received measurement task is a measurement task unlimited by S-measure, the UE implements the measurement for the measurement task unlimitedly by S-measure. The present invention also discloses a system for implementing a measurement task. The system includes a configuration unit, a notification unit, a determination unit and an implementation unit, wherein, the configuration unit is used to configure a measurement task unlimited by S-measure for a UE, the notification unit is used to notify the UE of the configured measurement task unlimited by S-measure, the determination unit is used to trigger the implementation unit when the notified measurement task is determined as a measurement task unlimited by S-measure, and the implementation unit is used to implement the measurement for the received measurement task unlimitedly by S-measure. The present invention well ensures the UE's service quality and improves the UE's user experience.</p> |
