<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance check tool of an LED blinking light-emitting machine for a railroad, which can simply determine the lifetime and replacement time of a red LED and/or a cylinder made of a transparent resin, provided in the LED blinking light-emitting machine installed, for example, beside a track or near a signal. <P>SOLUTION: An opening of a hood-like housing H having a CCD 13 provided on a bottom abuts on a light-emitting surface 2 of the LED blinking light-emitting machine; red blinking light from an array of the red LED 5 of the LED blinking light-emitting machine for the railroad is received by the CCD 13; the luminous quantity of the red blinking light for a fixed period of time is computed; a level is determined by comparing a computed value with two high and low thresholds; and any one of red, yellow and green colors is displayed depending on the low, medium or high level by an LED display device. A measurement operator can determine the replacement time of a substrate 3A with the array of the red LED 5 and the cylinder 2 made of the transparent resin by recognizing a luminous quantity deterioration level and a life level, associated with the performance of the LED blinking light-emitting machine, from the color. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
