<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine which is energy-saved by reducing electric power consumption of an open/close valve included in a heat pump system which cools and heats hot/cold switching compartment. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic vending machine includes a compressor 17, an indoor heat exchanger 18, an outdoor heat exchanger 19, and a directly operated four-way switching valve 20. Since the four-way switching valve 20 is not energized during a heating operation, a power consumption of the switching valve is zero. Also, because a flow of a valve is secured, a pressure loss is reduced, thereby improving an efficiency of the compressor 17 and achieving further energy conservation. Moreover, the number of switching valves can be reduced, thereby achieving a reduction of the number of parts and a simplification of piping. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
