<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology useful for improvement of usability when adjusting an inclination angle of a circular saw body part in regard to a portable circular saw. <P>SOLUTION: In this portable circular saw 101 including an inclination cutting mechanism 131 continuously connecting a circular saw body part 121 having a saw blade 123 to a base 111 to freely adjust the inclination angle, a regulating device 141 is provided to regulate the circular saw body part 121 to a first and a second usual inclination angle positions. The regulating device 141 is configured to move an engaging member 143 provided in the base 111 between a regulating position, wherein the engaging member 143 abuts on an engagement part 135a for regulating the first usual inclination angle position provided in the circular saw body, and a regulating position, wherein the engaging member 143 abuts on an engagement part 135b for regulating the second usual inclination angle position, so as to change the usual inclination angle position to be regulated. Further, the engaging member 143 can move between a regulating position, wherein the engaging member 143 can abuts on the engagement parts 135a and 135b, and a regulation released position, wherein the engaging member 143 cannot abut on any of the engagement parts 135a and 135b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
