<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel for an automobile capable of inexpensively manufacturing the hooking function using the property of synthetic resin. <P>SOLUTION: The steering wheel for the automobile includes: a boss plate which is made of metal, and can be supported on the upper end of a steering shaft; and an airbag device which can be engaged/separated with/from the boss plate by a support body 22 and a fixing means 21. The fixing means 21 includes: a back plate 49 to which the airbag device is fixed, and in which mounting pieces 49a, 49b made by folding iron plates are formed; the support body 22 which is elastically engaged with the mounting pieces 49a, 49b, and can be held on the boss plate; and a fixing member 13 which is made of synthetic resin, overmolds the mounting pieces 49a, 49b, and is suspended in the opposite direction to the support body 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
