<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water flow detector based on a new-type water flow pressure differential valve that is also applicable to the water flow detector used in water supply piping with a relatively large caliber. <P>SOLUTION: The water flow detector includes a swing chuck type valve structure. A lever shaft 11 is provided, penetrating the detector body 1 in a region opposite the bearing 8 of the valve body 7. A first lever 11A and a second lever 11B are connected and fixed at both ends of the lever shaft 11. The first lever 11A is given momentum in the direction of opening the valve. When the valve body 7 opens, the first lever 11A and second lever 11B rotate to turn on a switch 17. With respect to detecting the displacement of the valve body 7 after its opening, the lever shaft 11 is provided in a region opposing the bearing 8 of the valve body 7. This makes the detection of the displacement of the switch 17 easier, because the region opposing the bearing 8 displaces more than the region in the vicinity of the bearing 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
