<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood processing filter that can secure a uniform blood flow with no risk of impeding a blood flow because of hardly causing plugging of a main filter even when lumps larger than blood components such as aggregates pass through without being caught by a prefilter when filtering. <P>SOLUTION: A leukocyte removing filter 1A includes the prefilter 21 and the main filter 25 comprising a plurality of filter medium layers 21a, 21b, and 25a-25c. An excision opening 33 is formed in at least one filter medium layer 25a disposed upstream of the downstream filter medium layer 25c excluding the upstream filter medium layer 21b disposed most upstream of the prefilter 21 and the downstream filter medium layer 25c disposed most downstream of the main filter 25 out of the plurality of filter medium layers 21a, 21b, and 25a-25c forming the prefilter 21 and the main filter 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
