<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular cover constituting a transaxle case of a power transmission device for a vehicle, which prevents a sound generated by a primary vibration mode and a secondary vibration mode. <P>SOLUTION: A circumferential wall 80 is continued in the circumferential direction between a shaft support part 76 and a fastening part 74 of a cover 15c and is formed in an arcuate cross-section. Consequently, the rigidity of the cover 15c is increased and the resonance frequency generated by the primary vibration mode and the secondary vibration mode of the cover 15c is increased. Especially, the resonance frequency generated by the secondary vibration mode is greatly increased by forming the circumferential wall 80 in the arcuate cross-section, resulting in narrowing down the sound problematic mode to only the primary vibration mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
