<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector cleaning tool capable of facilitating cleaning work even when enough work space cannot be secured in the optical connector cleaning tool equipped with a protection cap. <P>SOLUTION: The optical connector cleaning tool 1 includes: a tool body 10; an extension part 20 extending from the tool body 10; and the protection cap 30 mountable on a tip part of the extension part 20. The tool body 10 includes a feeding mechanism 3 for supplying and taking back a cleaning body 2, and a housing body 11 for housing the feeding mechanism 3 therein. The extension part 20 includes an extending cylinder 21 extending from the housing body 11, and a head member 23 for abutting the cleaning body 2 on a cleaning object at the tip of the extending cylinder 21.
