The ball-and-socket joint (1) has housing provided with opening (7) extended in axial direction. A ball stud (6) is supported with joint ball (5) to slidably movable in housing. A pivoting angle measurement device is secured at opening of housing to detect the rotating movement of ball stud with respect to housing. A permanent magnet (16) is arranged facing the joint ball. The joint ball comprises surface area (19) which interacts with magnetic field produced by permanent magnet so that ball surface area of joint ball departs with respect to magnet.
