<p>The drilling installation has a core drill which constitutes a pipe section with lateral elongated apertures in the middle part and with soldered-in, hard-alloy plates at the lower end, which form the drill bit, and with a cover at the top with a square device for attaching to a connecting rod. The connecting rod consists of a thin-walled steel pipe with squares at the ends for joining to the drill, a successive connecting pipe or to a square drilling rod. The drive station structure contains a motor which transmits rotation via belt and chain transmissions and the worm gear reducer to an elevator. The elevator comprises a thin-walled pipe with two external grooves under support rollers, and has bosses at the end, the bosses entering into engagement with the drilling plate, through the middle of which a drilling rod with a feed coupling passes. A manual feed fork is inserted into lugs, and the ends of said fork are alternately supported in recesses constructed in the form of a staircase with wall railings on the composite drilling rig. A system of blocks and snap hooks with a cable is suspended in the rig head. The cable is supported at one end above the drilling rod during operation and is connected at the other end to a manual winch. The installation is mobile and independent and is of relatively low weight and small dimensions.</p> |
