CLOSING MATERIAL FOR BLAST FURNACE TAPHOLE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing material for a blast furnace taphole capable of satisfying both suppression of generation of a cave at opening the taphole and excellent corrosion resistance to molten pig iron and slag, and capable of stably tapping molten pig iron.

SOLUTION: The closing material for blast furnace taphole includes a 2-10 mass% of first carbon black having 60-120 nm of particle diameter and 10-50 mL/100g of DBP oil absorption; and a 0.5-6.0 mass% of second carbon black having 10-50 nm of particle diameter and having 100mL/100g or less of the DBP oil absorption.
