DIRECT CURRENT POWER SUPPLY AND LED LIGHTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct current power supply in which safety is secured by causing no arc discharge in an open mode failure of a load circuit.

SOLUTION: The direct current power supply includes: a direct current power source DCS; a load circuit LH connected to an output terminal of the direct current power source; a load state detection means LD detecting a load voltage or an electrical amount corresponding to the load voltage; and a control means CC controlling the maximum value of an output voltage of the direct current power source so that a differential voltage between the maximum value of the output voltage of the direct current power source and a load voltage in a normal state may fall within a predetermined range where an arc discharge is not caused, while a detection output of the load state detection means is input therein to be controlled.
