<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of keeping functions as a bearing by preventing foreign matter such as abrasion powder that has mixed into lubricating oil from intruding into the inside of the bearing, and by supplying only clean oil to the inside of the bearing as lubricating oil. <P>SOLUTION: This rolling bearing includes: an inner ring 1; an outer ring 2; and a plurality of rolling elements 3 interposed between the inner and outer rings 1, 2. The rolling bearing is equipped with a sealing device 5 that has a base end fixed to the inner ring 1 and a tip end arranged in contact with the outer ring 2 to seal the bearing space between the inner and outer rings 1, 2. The sealing device 5 comprises a foreign-matter intrusion prevention member 8 having a portion made of a material that allows lubricating oil to pass therethrough but prevents the intrusion of solid foreign matter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
