<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which can communicate with a slave station which is connected to a network the communication device constructs even when the communication device searches for a network constructed by another base station, if a base station function and a slave station function of the communication device share radio hardware. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device of the invention has a base station function and a slave station function. When the communication device searches for existence of a network on a channel at least different from a channel used for a network constructed by the base station function, it transmits to the network constructed by the base station function a message which specifies a channel on which existence of a network is searched and instructs to change its channel to the specified channel, then changes the own channel to the specified channel and searches for a network on the post-change channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
